The Lone Pine Farm Story

In the flat lands of Southern Montgomery County, Lone Pine Farms (LPF) has been a fixture since 1871. Adam Moody's grandfather, Oscar Moody, worked the farm, beginning in the 1920's and eventually bought it in 1952. The farm, now owned by Adam's father, Dennis Moody, and himself, has grown to 300 acres. Through old fashioned labor intensive methods, the Moody family produces a wide variety of meats and grains including chicken, beef, hogs, corn, soybeans, oats, rye, hay, wheat, rape, and a grazing corn.

The Moody Farming Philosophy

We consider our farm to be a living, viable ecosystem, NOT A FACTORY. We are and have always been a family owned SUSTAINABLE FARM. We produce whole food from the earth. If we can't raise food the way God intended, we won't do it. Some say "It can't be done, your animals will get sick." We haven't had a vet on our farm in over 12 years. These are healthy, calm animals.

Upgrade your food and your health will improve.
