Custom Processing

Our state inspected facility in Ladoga can custom process, cut, and wrap your fat calf, hog, and /or lamb. Please call our Ladoga store for scheduling at (765) 942-2442. We are also a Certified Organic processor. Please click the link on the right to find out more.

Pricing Information

Pricing for custom processing can be very confusing at times. Here at Moody Meats we have decided to make it very simple.

Beef:
$20 Slaughter and waste removal fee per whole animal
$.40 per pound based on hanging carcass weight
$.50 per pound for us to make patties for you (Five pound minimum)

Pork:
$100 Flat fee for processing - This includes bulk sausage with your choice of seasoning mixed however you like it
$.50 per pound for us to make patties for you (Five pound minimum)
$1.25 per pound for linked sausages (Twelve and a half pound minimum)
$.75 per pound for cured and smoked meat based on green weight (prior to smoking)

Roaster Hog:
If you own a hog and would like for us to slaughter it for your hog roast you can make an appointment any time. We slaughter on Monday and Wednesday - if your hog roast is on the weekend, we prefer to slaughter on Wednesday. Slaughter begins at 6 am. The fee is $55 whole, split, or quartered. Please make an appointment.

Lamb:
$85 Flat fee for processing - This includes bulk sausage with your choice of seasoning
$.50 per pound for us to make patties for you (Five pound minimum)
$1.25 per pound for linked sausages
